Hi everyone, bribie nippers have been given a great fundraising opportunity. We have been asked to help park cars at the St Michael's community fete on Saturday the 27th May. We will be collecting a gold coin donation for every car. We have been advised we can make $2000 + on the day. What we need are volunteers to help out on the day. We are starting at 8am and finishing up at around 2. If you could help out at all please contact Vic Fiorin on 0402402244 or post here. Let's get a great start to the 2017/18 season! Thanks in advance! ... See MoreSee Less

WATCH: In case you missed it, earlier today we presented young Nipper Jayke Menefy from Mermaid Beach Surf Club with a bravery award for his heroic and selfless actions on Easter Sunday, when he rescued a male swimmer from a treacherous rip at an unpatrolled beach on the Sunshine Coast. This morning we reunited him with Christian, the man he saved, for the very first time in a special and heartwarming moment.#thisislifesaving #slsq

A big Thank You to all the volunteers who worked diligently today to make our break up a success, despite challenging conditions. Thank You especially to all those who cooked our lovely meal, served drinks, for adults and kids, and those who stayed back to clean up. The AGM threw up lots of new names and the old faithfuls for positions for next season, so 2017/18 is shaping up well. On behalf of the JAC committee please have a safe off season and we will see you all for the new nipper season. Keep your eyes on this page for updates on next season! ... See MoreSee Less
