Once you've decided that you want to become a lifesaver joining is the easy part.
All it takes is the completion of a Membership form and payment of membership fees. This then ensures that any lifesaving activities you partake in are covered by insurance.
The safety of our members is extremely important to us and because of this we also require that members over 18 apply for a blue card (to undergo a working with children check), this is done through the club and incurs no expense to the member. People applying for membership who already have a blue card, just need to show their card so the required details can be recorded.
Lifesaving is a relatively inexpensive sport. For the low yearly membership fee you are able to have access to a nationally recognised training organisation where awards gained incur limited or no expense to the member and you are able to participate in the Surf Sports arena - competing in areas of your own choice.
