LIFESAVING PATROLS
Woorim Beach is patrolled on weekends and public holidays by our volunteer patrolling members. Patrols start the first weekend of the September school holidays and finish the May Day long weekend each year.
During holiday and peak midweek times a Surf Life Saving QLD and Moreton Bay City Council Lifeguard service operates.

INFORMATION FOR PATROLLING MEMBERS
-
If you are unable to attend your rostered patrol you must find a suitable substitute.
-
There are a number of active reserves that are able to help, try them.
-
Organise a substitute as early as possible and don’t leave it until the last minute.
-
Confirm with your substitute within the week prior to your rostered patrol that they will be attending on your behalf.
-
If you arrange a substitute you should notify your Patrol Captain
-
If you cannot find a substitute, please contact your Patrol Captain at least 3 days before your patrol but you must have tried hard to get a swap first.
-
Being organised in advance is the key. Your patrol is a TEAM, and they need you.
